A Tuesday statement from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) said major mining companies in Iran had produced over 14.06 mt of iron ore pellets during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year, up from more than 12.7 million mt reported in the same period last year.
Supply of iron ore pellets by those companies reached over 12.7 million mt tons in March-July, a growth of 144% in comparison to the same period last year, said IMIDRO.
Golgohar Sirjan Mining and Industrial Company was the largest supplier of iron ore pellets in Iran over the period with 3.9 million mt of output, said the statement.
